The 1880 $10 silver certificates have Robert Morris on the left-hand side of the bill. As seen below, these bills have blue serial number ink and a brown seal at the center of the note. Sometimes they come with a red-inked seal. The back of all 1880 ten dollar silver certificates have the word SILVER printed in large bold letters.
Value: The value of 1880 ten dollar silver certificates is based upon condition, seal ink color and signature type. If you’re not sure which type you have, we would be glad to help. These bills are often worth $4,000. However, we have paid over $10,000 for higher-grade examples.
