Series of 1903 Five Silver Pesos Philippine Islands Certificate Note Value
Year: 1903 |
Type: The Philippine Islands Banknote |
Denomination: Five Pesos |
Country: The Philippines |

Description: These 1903 five silver pesos are stunning with their bright red color. As you can see, the print quality is what’s would be expected by the US BEP in the early 1900s, beautiful and extremely high quality. These five pesos silver certificates from 1903 have a portrait of William McKinley, the 25 US President, on the left-hand side of each bill.
As you can see there were about 1,350,000 of these printed, which may seem like a lot but in the grand scheme of things, this is a small number. Great quality examples, like the one pictured above, will bring a lot of money to the market. We pay top dollar for banknotes from The Philippine Islands. These banknotes are black and red with a blue seal and serial numbers.
Value: Low-grade examples should be worth at least $125. We would pay over $1,000 for better condition examples.
