Five Pesos Blacked Out Philippine National Bank Note Value
Year: No Date |
Type: The Philippine Islands Banknote |
Denomination: Five Pesos |
Country: The Philippines |

Description: If you have this five pesos note you may think somethings wrong, like someone drew over the note, or the note isn’t worth money because of what happened. That’s not the case. This note was blacked out with an overprint over the original printing, changing the issuer.
Not much is known about how many of these were printed. Under the black ink is the original engraved printing: Bank of the Philippine Islands. The red ink at the top and the red stamp at the left is from the Philippine National Bank.
Value: Low-grade examples should be worth at least $50. We would pay over $150 for better condition examples.
